We’re opening our doors and inviting everyone to explore our community, our games, and our fantastic new venue. Whether you're into miniature wargames, role-playing games, or board games, there’s something here for you.
What’s Happening on the Day?
We’ve got a packed schedule, including:
A massive 12' x 6' Chain of Command showcase game
Bring and Buy tables – pick up something new or sell off old favourites
Participation games – jump in and play
Demonstration games – see different systems in action
And much more!
Whether you’re a complete beginner or a long-time gamer, everyone is welcome.
About Us
The Barnsley Association of Tabletop Gamers is a long-standing club that’s been part of the Barnsley gaming scene for over 50 years. We recently moved into our new home at Unit 17, Chesham House, where we’ve built a space just for gamers.
We’ve got:
Six large, dedicated gaming tables
Loads of scenery and terrain for miniatures and RPGs
An extensive board games library
A friendly and welcoming community of players
If you're looking for a place to play, meet new people, or try something new, this is the place to be.
Getting Here
Address: Unit 17, Chesham House, Chesham Rd, Barnsley S70 2NT
Parking: Free on-street parking is available on Newton Street and Farrar Street. There’s also the Sackville Street Car Park, about five minutes' walk away.
By Bus: Take the 22a bus from Barnsley Interchange (every 30 minutes). Get off at Summer Lane/Newton Street.
By Train: Arrive at Barnsley Interchange, then either grab a taxi or hop on the 22a bus.
